@Gerlinde_Habekotte The heatshrink makes it all look pretty and to some extent restricts the possibility of a short to any exposed neighbouring conductor. I can’t see if there’s a crimp on the end which I would heartily recommend. As long as the wire ends aren’t tinned before fitting I’d say that is a step in the right direction.

Tinned wires creep out of screw terminals which is bad. For the truly paranoid there are also prescribed torque settings for the terminals too but I only do that where necessary.
