@Brandon_Satterfield I’m a machinist wanabe but I read that it’s usefull to change rotation direction for uphill vs downhill cutting. I know this to be true for routing wood but I just planned to change cutting direction vs spindle rotation.
@Brandon_Satterfield very strange, software doesn’t itself create nonliniarity like an electronic circuit might. When you program an s value of .4 for example it’s = .4 unless there is some math function added that translates it to another value. Is this the phase settings at play?
Yes more testing needed but I think the Gcode value = pwm df value on mine.
@donkjr you’ve given me something to think on. I use climb (vs conventional) milling all the time, especially in metal. I’ll have to look into reverse bits.
Carl I’ll get one and check it out. I tried G2 prior but just never really got into it.
The panucatt M1 claims the 0-10v port is experimental… I’ve been experimenting with it since the first board I got :-). With the GRBL offset I’m driving the VFDs close to perfect.
Don’t get me wrong I do love the Synthetos product, it is exceptional and the guys backing it are amazing.
