Can anyone who has recently gotten their first 3D Printer share with me what

There is a huge debate on the merits of deltas. Some things to consider.
The movement speed is dependent on where you are on the bed.
The resolution is dependent on were you are on the bed.
The math that the arduino is doing is more complex so at high speeds you are hitting the computational limits of the arduino
The volume is large in the z axis, but a large print in the z axis typically takes longer than a large print in the x-y

Practically the print quality is the same. (Theoretically the xy will be better due to conversion errors on the delta)
Materials used are about the same
Volume is about the same, but the foot print is round ish for the delta

Really it is personal preference

Oh when it comes to print speed, the limiting factor is how fast you can melt plastic, not how fast you can move.
