@Jeff_DeMaagd You are absolutely correct… measured a maximum of 59˚C at one spot, but mostly temps from 50 to 55˚C. No need for stepper heat sink.
@TKR_330_The_Vaporeon If you don’t have the money for a controller, you certainly don’t have the money to buy and run a 3D printer to make one.
@Mike_Thornbury It’s true, he doesn’t have it right now. I do believe that if someone wants something badly enough they’ll find a way. My friend Kelvin didn’t so we built his from scavenged parts with a set of motors I bought for him. He’s doing quite well now though there’s the occasional cry for help.
@Duncan_Gunn kinda missed the point, Duncan. He said he didn’t have the money for an Xbox controller, but the cost of printing one is more than the cost of a controller. That’s the cost of the filament, let alone the cost of the printer itself. If he wanted an Xbox controller badly enough Craigslist has them in their thousands.
