@JP_Roy Ah yes I will be posting my final results on the installation for sure. And help anyone I can with any knowledge I’ve learned through the process. Stay tuned…maybe another day or two.
@JP_Roy or @Ryan_Cush can you take a look at how I’ve hooked everything up with this image. I’m still getting just a bit of random blinkys at the very end, which meters as I remember from last night around 4volts. Is there any better way to hook this up and not get as much voltage drop. I’m thinking it’s related to the entire 480 pixels being on one circuit running 27amps at full max (which I’m going to try and not have) through only 12ga wire that in it’s entirety is 50’ long. Thoughts on how to improve this before I finalize everything and string it through the PEX tubing hung on the house?

@Trey_Coursey If there is anyway you can locate the PSU between the 1st and 2nd strips that would definitely help otherwise your diagram looks fine to me.
An option would be to have a 2nd 12 ga run. Possibly only doubling up between the PSU and the end of 1st strip. If that does not solve your problem you could also double-up all the way from PSU to the end of the 2nd strip.
That small connection from PSU to beginning of 1st strip should/could also be supplied with 12 ga wire. Even a short section of smaller wires will cause some voltage drop with the current draw of a whole strip.
Try to make these taps between the strips to the 12 ga wires as short as possible.
A better setup although maybe not practical now would be to have 3 smaller 5V PSUs ( 20 amps ) that each feed the voltage to a single strip. The only thing you need to ensure is that all the GNDs are tied together. The 5V wires would NOT be tied together in that case.
@JP_Roy I appreciate you looking over the diagram. I am going to try and reduce all the small wires I can in between the strips, that might help. I also had an extra long lead from the psu on the first run as I wasn’t sure the mount outside, that should come off some in final installation too. Thanks again…hope to post some final videos near end of week.
