Thank you so much for the support Roy, because of you and the rest of the fine people at FastLED I learned a lot.
I will set the 8 strips and test it later properly, the reason I dropped it to 3 as I have connected a small setup to my laptop USB port. I think I need a glass of wine now, hope I could share with you. Thank you So much for been so patient. I will let you know the progress.
Cheers!!

Ok, could not help it, I corrected it for 3 strips…

I strongly urge you to compare my sketch with your last one to see exactly what I changed !

Also, please do take the time not just to load the sketch but to carefully read through and understand every statement. It is the only way to learn and later be able to modify it by yourself.

Thanks a million Roy, than would have taken few weeks or may be months to figure out (even then that is not sure).
I’m going through the code to understand it better.
already tried only the white color and so on.
will add more effects to work with this. When I finish this will send you a link to see.
take care.

JP Roy!
You are so helpfully nice
To people in learning the wonderful FastLED

Thanks @Nail_ENVY !

I was also a real Arduino and FastLED beginner less than a year ago and I received a lot of help from Mark Kriegsman, Daniel Garcia and many others in this User’s group !

I get a lot of satisfaction when I am able to give back a little and help other real beginners like this.
