Hello community:)      Thanks in advance to anybody reading this lengthy post!  It's been

Forgive me if I don’t respond right away but I’ve just had some unexpected company arrive. You have helped me immensely. Very appreciated!!! I am hopeful now

Hmmm…is it still reversed? If not, what did you do to fix it? I almost think you only fixed half of what you needed to.

Repetier…I hate that thing. It can flash your firmware if you tell it to. It must be set to the right board. Try Prontrface and it may work. LOL

Sounds like it sends a gcode like m109 that sets temp and wait, which will make it seem unresponsive. You might have stripped that code from your previous slicing settings and used to heat up manually?

@NathanielStenzel it was still reversed before this whole issue arose by me doing a clean install of OS on my comp. I avoided ever truly correcting it by simply making my ‘X’ placement a negative value… Kind of lame, I know but it worked, lol. I am just about to run an old gcode to see if it is reversed now or not. In the meantime, going to do a new slice on a model that I have a good gcode for from before and look at the differences. I have a bit of other work to do this morn/afternoon and my presence here will be staggered. I can tell that I am getting closer, thanks to the great help found in this group!!! I will find the differences and if I can’t fully decipher them, I’ll be posting in a bit. Your help here better than gold to me. Better than bacon or cookies even!! I need coffee. +Peter Hertel, Even in my gcode from before issue I see the M109 in there, so it was always like that before. Sorry to all for having trailed off last night- had company and then was tired. New day now. This will be resolved!!!
