@Leo_Bettinelli No, the RS485 would never be “too much” in terms of transmission – it’s just more work to implement. To do it you need to put circuitry at both ends of the run (a transmitter at the controller, and then a receiver at each strip). So basically it would require an extra circuit board at each strip (1 + 7 circuit boards). Plus 1 extra signal line per strip.

Since my run really isn’t that long I’m hoping that just increasing the strength of the transmitters will fix my flakey behavior (just 1 circuit board).
