Your code probably works, but i could not make it run smooth on my ESP. FPS was down to 6 … and that was a bot too slow.
Nevertheless a big thank you! for your time trying to help me out!

I tried and changed some codes myself and some did actually work.
I finally finished this project, took much longer than i hoped for but that was out of my control.
Now i got 5700 LEDs running on 16 outputs.
there was no space left in the entrance for the last strip,
I mirrored the last 4 strips.
I made 2 different PCB’s , the first one was with data over RJ45 and CAT6, but i could not get it to work on all 20 strips.
CAT 6 cable is so sensitive , and i got a lot of grounding issues.
after one week trying to isolate all possible things, i ritually burned that PCB. it felt really good.
On the second PCB i used the standard 3pin JST connenctor just for data.
Worked instantly and did its work!
I’ll post pictures and some movies later on this weekend.
