I thought it was legitimate gCode too, John. But on researching it, the syntax requires that at least one x or y value and at least one I or J value are provided (when in the xy plane).
@Nick_R_Sloppsta I changed the code by adding previous XY to G3 lines.
Please test your Eagle file on this workspace (http://www.chilipeppr.com/ameen), it’s a tinyg ws but you can copy the gcode to GRBL ws.

I’ll make a pull request tomorrow to merg this fix with the main code.
Ameen’s code is mirrored into the /jpadie workspace.
The change I made yesterday is now merged with the master branch of Eagle widget.
