Although, when I design using solidworks, I can visualize in my head what it’s gonna look like in real life. And, ya know, look at the 3d object while I design it. So a VR system would not have any value to me, imo, I agree with @ThantiK , about your proposed market demographic, gather people who design in 3d, now take away people who don’t care, who don’t use VR, who design big enough models needed to view in this way, and the people who are left, 10% of them might be a customer of yours. A simple market research would determine if it is actually worth the effort.
Exchange the VR for AR and you might have a workable idea.
