I have had to leave work for a court matter - I am a witness in a basic harassment charge from my old work and it’s been adjourned for an hour so I am 100% free with a solid internet connection. Just gotta install skype.
I can Skype later tonight in about 4 hours will that work?
Well tonight my time
I just grabbed my teensy gear. I am going to see if I can get it updated with the latest stuff too.
I’m going to say hopefully it’ll work. I will be in court in 40 mins for an old phsyco client who is self represented and will either take all day or be over in a couple of hours. Can I touch base when I get out of court and see how things are going your end?
That’s awesome mate - thanks for that
Hope it’s not too much work for you. Is there much of a benefit if you do get it updated?
I’m sitting at my old office so I don’t have my teensy on me but I just deleted that new library and used the drop box one you sent and I get this now:
In file included from C:\Users\Admin\Documents\Arduino\W5200_v3\W5200_v3.ino:49:0:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\hardware\teensy\avr\libraries\FastLED/FastLED.h:17:21: note: #pragma message: FastLED version 3.001.005
pragma message “FastLED version 3.001.005”

Opening Teensy Loader…
Sketch uses 31568 bytes (12%) of program storage space. Maximum is 262144 bytes.
Global variables use 10244 bytes (15%) of dynamic memory, leaving 55292 bytes for local variables. Maximum is 65536 bytes.
Worst case scenario - does this mean it will work? ![]()
Yup that works. Now our next step is to ping the teensy
Awesome - I was unsure if the part above Opening Teensy Loader meant something went wrong.
I will upload it to the teensy as soon as I get home and ping it and give you an update.
Then if that’s all good, I noticed that Jinx has a search feature so it must just scour the network for anything that’s compatible and list it as an option to push data to? If it’s that simple it’d be pretty awesome.
Okay so I’m home and have uploaded the sketch to the teensy. It does appear on my router although the it hasn’t taken the static IP address that I set, it’s grabbed something totally different. My router is a little odd. IE current config is default gateway: 10.0.0.138 and subnet mask: 255.255.255.0. I set a static ip of 10.0.0.100 although the router has assigned it 10.0.0.6. I can ping it and get a reply.
Thoughts from here?
What does the serial monitor say? It should verify the ip. I will have to see what’s up with the static
I opened it and it just says TeensyMonitor: Closed in the window heading and then nothing but an empty white box.
Happy to TeamViewer sometime if that’s easier for you?
Sure what’s your code I’ll connect
659 929 552 - 9832
said incompatible teamviewer versions - i’m just updating
4503 try again
Any exciting news mate?
Just getting off work going to see if I get updates ago to get it over to you here in the next couple hours
