Hi guys, sorry to bother you again with another issue.

Will give a try after work. Thanks Ray!

Sure. To be clear, I didn’t fix anything.

But you opened the gate for me to get in and fix it

Hmm… I forked the jsfiddles but I can’t seem to figure out where the triangles = THREE.Shape.Utils.triangulateShape(vertices, holes); is called - it seems to be line 859. But I can’t figure out what file. I’ve forked the workspace to http://chilipeppr.com/imania and forked the widget inside that and changed line 690 to Shapeutils instead of shape.utils but it still loads “line 859” with the wrong code somewhere…

Never mind - it was called again in the widget js @ line 936.
My grbl workspace now seems to work fine @ http://chilipeppr.com/imania

@enricodina that was certainly the intention!

@Anders_Nielsen looks great!

Completely new to github, but tried anders fork and works flawlesly. I just broke the brand new bit due my own incompetence now…

Hi Anders.
I tried http://chilipeppr.com/imania and the autoleveler is running fine now.
But, may be, you know a solution for another small problem.
During autoleveler sometimes chilipeppr goes in Alarmmode and stops. May be, sending a $X helps to run further.
Regards, Paul

Hi @Paul_Schaerer
I’ve only seen that happen when it’s supposed to(touching the when not probing) - you can try increasing your probe height.
If it happens randomly it could be interference - in that case you can try shorter wires and/or twisting the knife wires for as long as possible.

@Anders_Nielsen THANK YOU… Seriously man, I spent 4 hours troubleshooting this issue thinking it was a problem on my end. Your fork works fantastic for me.

@Eric_Rowe You are very welcome - it drove me crazy as well

Hi Anders
Thanks fir your tip regarding the probe height. It was my own mistake. I did not adjust chilipeppr correctli.
Now, i will try working with a new board.
Regards

@Anders_Nielsen you saved my life with the auto-leveler fix! Thank you!

Hi All. I’ve just tried the Imania fork, I haven’t started probing with it yet, but the board I’ve just dragged in from Eagle has a load of pads missing. these aren’t missing on the original grbl fiddle. has anyone else seen this issue, and got any ideas? thanks

I’ve tried probing too, but that also shows the same behaviour as the grbl fiddle. so it probes point 1 then stops and the grid vanishes

I’ve had issues with inches and decimals. Gcode needs to be in mm and truncated.

Has anyone managed to fix this yet? I just loaded up Chillipepper for the first time, on this PC, and it conencts, and i can jog etc, but if i try to probe, it goes down, hits the first spot, comm says zero found, then it sits there… if i hit pause button 2 times, it will move to the next probe point and do the same, drops down, touches, says found zero, sits there doing nothing…

This is in the GRBL workspace on an X-Carve

Someone posted on a different forum. If you change the parameters for how far down it can go while testing then it carries on ok. To be fair i got a pretty ropey mill after using the probe anyway. But good luck

Right on, thanks for the info, i think i’ll just hold off until they get it fixed.
