Hi, I use chilipeppr for all my jobs in my eshapoko with my surface

i can see new folder inside my /src/http://github.com/ folder: goland, gorilla, kidoman and johnlauer (from spjs github)

ok i will try with the same version that you, it´s 1.02

Ah yeah, 1.02 is way too old do to most stuff. They rebuilt Go quite significantly in 1.1.

Check out the instructions here for installing Go from source: http://golang.org/doc/install/source

Worked fine for me on a BBB.

yep, im trying from here:)im sorry but i don´t touch in linux since long time ago…

No problem man, neither do I most of the time. It always drives me crazy when I have to go and compile 15 different things to get something to work. @jlauer has been bugging me to get binaries compiled and hosted on http://chillipeppr.com which I will try and get done this weekend.

I have to pay you a beer for your work, if one day you go to Portugal tell me something:)for a few other guys also for the help, im still learning this things but because of my work i don t have much time to play with my CNC like i wanted to be.

ok go version 1.4.1 installed, next step gpio

i have now this two errors:

GitHub - benjamind/gpio-json-server

src/http://github.com/benjamind/gpio-json-server/gpio.go:139: desc.GPIODriver().GetPinMap undefined (type embd.GPIODriver has no field or method GetPinMap)

src/http://github.com/benjamind/gpio-json-server/gpio.go:169: desc.GPIODriver().GetPinMap undefined (type embd.GPIODriver has no field or method GetPinMap)

Huh. This is odd. John was having the same trouble. Seems like the embd library is not updating correctly.

do you know how i can do it?

Ah, sorry, my bad. The name was different when my patch got merged into the embd project. I have updated the gpio-json-server source.

Go into the gpio-json-server dir, and do a ‘git pull’ that should get you the latest then you can try building again. Or alternatively just delete the whole benjamind directory and do ‘go get’ again.

so i just have to do go get again?

Yes in theory, I’m not sure how ‘go get’ caches though so you might have to delete the dir first. But try it, it might just work.

@Ben_Delarre thank you very much, its alive!!

Awesome. Let me know how you get on I think you might be the first tester.

OK, the first test i will make tomorow is with some LEDs in my dust shoe:)

Cool. I will add pwm control so you can dim them at some point next week.
