@William_Eades Yes, I will have a heated bed with variable temp control. Once I finish the 3D printer and another CNC project I want to work on an enclosure.
One problem I’m running into is finding a large rigid material for the z-axis to mount a heated bed to. I want to use 4 linear rods to keep it stable and 2 threaded rods for movement. I want the bed rigid but not heavy and I’m not sure what to use for it.
@Shawn_Nguyen Many of us use an aluminum “X” frame for the z axis mounts with the leveling screws and a glass build plate with the heating element sandwiched between the glass and alu. (That is what I’m running)
I’ll try that with a wood platform to see how it goes.
