I spent some time last night writing a parser for version 1.1 of grbl.

i wrote a 1.1 compatible grbl widget as i posted above. i’m in testing.

i also have changed the top left panel to be a drop down like tinyG workspace. it’s just an html/css change.

Did you create a workspace to test it ?

yes. /jpadie. I posted that in another thread. silly of me

there is a load error/timeout at the moment. i gave up trying to fix that last night as my eyes hurt. i suspect it was just an issue of div naming. i will take another look in a half hour.

Ok I’m working on adding buttons to send new codes, maybe you can add my code to your widget

happy to try.

i am very much struggling to see why there is a load timeout error on the workspace (relating to the new grbl widget. if anyone has any experience with this error could they take a quick look?

I see your github dir but I cant find the url of your workspace

As above. /Jpadie.

Ie.
http://Chilipeppr.com/jpadie.

Maybe I found the error:
workspace.js @ line 1450: “com-chilipeppr-widget-grbl-instance” change with “#com-chilipeppr-widget-grbl-instance

thanks. i don’t think that’s it otherwise the html would not get pulled in at all. but i made the change just in case.

given that the code is pulled in correctly, I must assume that there is a bug in the code. nothing is showing as an error in my IDE nor in the browser console. i will take a look later.
