I ended up with a aldi printer. not a bad piece of kit. Melzi board is limited with no spare I/O ports. Having the temperature jump at the higher end, ADC readings are jumping 10, do something is wrong with he machine but still prints great
I got one too.
Not a bad machine. Quality is lower than my Printrbot Simple Metal, probably due to mechanical resonance.
The plate steel on the Printrbot is 3mm thick, but much thinner on this one. The Printrbot is much more rigid.
