Very interesting
Latest cube, lots of ringing (drop jerk / accel / speed or something), insufficient cooling showing at the X overhangs (need more airflow) but otherwise getting better
Marlins jerk algorithm changed a while back, but their default remained at 20. Honestly I never run it higher than 10, and in most cases at 5. As for accel, I typically use 1200 or so. That’s with a well tuned printer with high quality gt3 belts.
Use M503 to show current settings. Try setting xy jerk to 5 and max accel to 1200.
The reason you see more ghosting is because the smaller nozzle gives it higher definition. The 0.4mm nozzle hides it somewhat. If you want even better prints then you’re going to need to spend some money on better belts, and better motors. Perhaps better bearings too.
Well its getting better. @David_Sherwood not sure how to edit eeprom settings, I will have a look into this. @Stephanie_A the belts and motors are pretty good quality to be fair but I will look into changing the jerk settings and post back with results soon.
