If you aren’t running a heated bed you really don’t need a big expensive ultra high end psu. I’ve been running various printers off of a 12v 6a psu made for leds that I bought almost two years ago. The thing has at least 1500 hours on it without a problem.
My other printer is running on a 5a one from Printrbot temporarily. But I’m only switching from it because it is dedicated for a different printer.
Now if you have a heated bed it’s probably worth trying to track down a good psu with a lot more current needed.
