Installed LW4 after my brief relationship with LW3.

Is “Laser Fill Path” the right type of operation for a fill engrave?

@Bob_Buechler you have a laser fill path operation for a BMP. That’s not going to work. You need a raster operation. Laser path fill is to raster a filled path on an svg

G0is green, G1 is red

Got it. Now the job simulator includes a good-looking raster engrave operation too. Only problem is the same bug as someone reported about 4 days ago, that the raster operation is always being done last, regardless of the position of the operation in the list.

Note in this screenshot how far along the simulator is, and then also note that the raster operation is supposed to be done first, before the cut:

have you updated to the last available version? Or are you running a executable?
This was sorted out the same day but i need to know how are you running LW4

Ahh. That would explain it.

@Peter van der Walt sent me to the Binaries URL in this thread: https://plus.google.com/+BobBuechler/posts/Ej9gpqa3wup … which is what I used.

I’m not afraid of a commandline install, it’s what I did when I tried LW3, after all. Though I admit, having the binary installer this time around was sure nice.

We move at the speed of light so until we can update automatically each time something is new or fixed you need to go back there and download the latest one.
If you have setup everything download those setting just in case. Go to Settings / Tools / Settings > Save

Will do. I’ll see what I can do to watch the binaries repo for changes.
