Is there a way to manipulate CRGB() as a whole as opposed to manipulating

In HSV, white is any hue, zero saturation, and full brightness. So (0,0,255) should be white.

Likewise, black is any hue, any saturation, and zero brightness, i.e. (0,0,0).

UPDATE: there is now a way to recover approximate HSV values from an RGB color. See post at https://plus.google.com/112916219338292742137/posts/Rxx6RpgpSr2 (code is available on the 3.1 branch)
