Ok I tried a new file and tweaked a few things in the software and chilipeppr and TinyG seem to be running the laser Gcode now with out freezing. It’s till doing a weird brief stop and go thing but it’s a very short stop. Not sure how that might effect a laser image but my guess is any stop will cause a longer burn time and you could end up with darker and lighter shades.
Since I didn’t want to disconnect my spindle for this test I set laser on and laser off to M5. I was concerned I might damage my spindle by turning it on and off quickly.
