Yes, the H-Shape of the belt might be the reason for the naming. I’m also not sure about the naming of the more simple, classical cartesian printer designs but i also think that naming doesn’t matter too much. If you’re looking for a next printer to build for yourself i think it is valid to look at all these projects. Each of them should work also for beginners if you’re nosy enough to try things out. All of the bigger printer projects have a community anwhere around that is willing to help when problems arise so i’d just say go for it

thanks - yes I’m sure I will go for it - currently I think I am going to try the Eustathios spider 2 to start with - and I am sure I will have many questions for this group.
