Nice build. Seems like your aim was to be able to print “tall” for your projects ?

@Lee_Kang_Swee No, not really. There were 2 primary reasons for this particular design.
First, the printer is part of my practical graduation as a electrotechnical engineer. That’s why it got its highly optimized and industrial-like electrics.
Second, I designed the printer for all future upgrades I had in mind. That’s why the printer is that big - I will need room for all the extensions to fit in.
The buildvoulume itself is just the outcome of all other factors I considered. It needed to be big enough, to fully fit under my workbench, thats why it is 85cm tall. I have 60cm to fill under the bench, so the printer is 60cm wide. In combination, thats big enough to get a buildvolume of more than 27.000cm³ PLUS to have room for the planned extensions.
In fact, I looked at the outer dimensions and tried to fit as much good stuff inside as I could :smiley:
