@Panayiotis_Savva Octoprint throws a dialog box with an error when runaway is triggered. It’s big, he would have seen it in the screenshot.
@Daniel_Bull About 20-25 years ago they stopped selling most passives and parts. In the 70s into the 80s you could build a radio from parts from Radio Shack. In the US it was the local electronics store.
@Mike_Miller You can get a better quality polyfuse at Digikey or Mouser. They’ll ship First Class Package for a few bucks. Some people have hacked auto fuse holders into some boards but if you get a quality polyfuse with the proper rating it should be good.
Does octoprint show a warning when there’s a glitch in the thermistor wiring?
It throws a min temp error in the status panel when there is a thermsitor issue.
