@Adam_Steinmark are you wanting independent X like a Sigma (which has Marlin support already) or independent X and Y?

@Ryan_Carlyle probably just X. I don’t see a benefit to having independent Y as well. Would the Sigma firmware be easy enough to modify?

@Adam_Steinmark I don’t think you need any firmware changes to do a dual-X cross gantry.

@Ryan_Carlyle I did the math about the weight and realized the two motors don’t add as much weight relative to the X axis as I thought so I’ll go with the simpler design and get some good belts.
