@Darren_Hedlund these are amazing animations. Are you working for a game company or something ?
I would love to see these 512pix in action

@Yves_BAZIN I just create games and videos for fun. Will post my test soon.

@Yves_BAZIN 1024 pixels worked perfect at 30FPS https://youtu.be/Uvx7cggpBZM

@Darren_Hedlund nice work !! Now to go higher in term of pixel you will need to use parallel output.

@Yves_BAZIN So far so good. did you try the videos?

@Darren_Hedlund i have put one on my board :slight_smile: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WMSjsHfFcwI

@Yves_BAZIN AWESOME!!! I will make you more!!!

@Darren_Hedlund i think you need to see your own creation on the own panel :wink:
What is the size of your panel now ?
I could send you my programs to do that

@Yves_BAZIN So far got 20*256 panels up. That would be great. Would love to get the big picture up and running.

@Darren_Hedlund that’s more than 5000pixels you will really need parallel output;).

@Yves_BAZIN Yeah, found that out when I turned things on. Now to learn Parallel Output. lol This is so exciting!!!

@Darren_Hedlund @Sam_Guyer has made a library for 8 parallel output for the esp32 I have one with 16 but sensible to WiFi ( you would need dead pixels)

wow… never thought to push that much, I know at burning man a guy who does some amazing LED work and has an iPad app out to make life easier uses these guys… http://www.heroicrobotics.com/products/pixelpusher anyone tried them b4? guess they have their own custom lib though :confused:

@Steve_Tietze Nice rig, and does awesome stuff! Sadly that also is Ethernet. I have a dream to go full WiFi…

@Darren_Hedlund
I am using one board 16 parallel outputs
Here is the like to Sam fastled GitHub - samguyer/FastLED: The main FastLED library (successor to FastSPI_LED). Please direct questions/requests for advice to the g+ community - http://fastled.io/+ - we'd like to keep issues to just tracking bugs/enhancements/tasks. *NOTE* library work is currently on hold - see https://plus.google.com/102282558639672545743/posts/JQKcujjaXXC for details.

Here is the link to mine

As I said in my version you would need dead pixels but more outputs

@Yves_BAZIN Oh, I so have to learn this now!!! Any requests for animation yet?

@Darren_Hedlund here is the version of the final board. 1 esp32 2x74hc245 to use as signal booster and 4x RJ45 to transport the signal without noisemissing/deleted image from Google+

@Darren_Hedlund Ahaha !! Sam and I have been talking about it for a while now :). Later is better than never. ;). I want to try to finish Pacman first on my board ( I am finally done with my chasing algorithm ) it should be out soon. After that I will look deep into your collection of animation.

@Yves_BAZIN Holy cow, that looks AWESOME!
