@Stef_Weicks no still in Lisbon. Going to the beach. I looked at the code once my Advil had kicked in.
I don’t know exactly why the change of behaviour of the code. But I have rearrange some lines to make the debugging easier

Unfortunately i didn´t got it… but from my understanding it should do what we want … i tried some wifistatus=true and false; in the loop too … i thought maybe the wificonnect should only be executed if it is necessary?? …so no while(1) ? but i don´t know …if that works…

or what do you think of a deep-sleep mode … instead of a wifi off?

If you go deep-sleep nothing will work at all

the serial output is the same from above. it tries to connect … blynk connects for about 1 or max two seconds! …than its an abrupt disconnection … and tries again … and that runs in a loop.

if its time to sleep the whole thing should be “off” therefore it doesn´t matter the controller is running or not… i know i could also do thist with a timeclock but I would prefer it if it switch only off the wifi (because of the “radiation, electro-smog”).
