Can I use vslot? Then the price pretty cheap. I’d like to see the other parts in the repo as well.
@Glenn_West short answer: no. Longer answer: The UM gantry spins the linear rods, so it would take a significant redesign to use anything other than round rods for that purpose. Vslot also requires longer carriages, so the whole machine would have to get bigger to maintain the travel. If you just meant using it for the frame (not as a linear motion component), it would still take some redesigning, because the whole thing is designed around 15mm extrusions, and vslot is a 20mm profile.
Yes I do mean as the frame. And I have plenty of vslot I moved away from 1515 Long time ago
