@Rojer_Wisner I meant IT (which I too do for a living)…it’s where I’ve seen the lions-share of these stupid patents, SCO, Apple, Sony, Etc.
@Mike_Miller “stupid patent”…like slide this thing over here to open…which worked just fine for forts and castles and outhouses for thousands of years…also known as a slide lock.
@Mike_Miller - ah, gotcha. I wasn’t thinking in such generalities. I was thinking even more broadly, as in DRM and permission society at large. I hope we don’t end up with printers that will only output purchased files on DRM’d cartridges half full of expensive proprietary filament styled printers.
