I’m Senior Director of Engineering at Pendo. I am responsible for our teams responsible for our platform, including data ingestion, real time and batch analytics, and both back end and front end internal platform across our product suite.

I have too many hobbies, but they include many forms of making. 3D printing was my “gateway drug” to manual machining, thence to CNC, now laser. I occasionally dip my toes in circuits, from microcontrollers up to converting my lawn tractor from gas to electric power.

I built a CoreXY of my own design, on the skeleton of a Tronxy X5S. After that succeeded, I built a cantilever of my own design from spare parts around the house. I enjoy designing and making my own tools. I probably spend at least as much time making tools as using them. When I think of the next new idea, I can go make it, using one of the technologies I’ve learned — whether that idea is for another tool or something else barely matters.
