$150 3D printer anyone? Good luck getting it at that price anyway! What do you make of it? Looks pretty nice not sure about the quality of the prints though in all honesty.

Non-open-source and a closed software environment and store (like the iPad). This might be pretty good for the average consumer, and the product (and environment) looks good.
But, I’m an open-source guy, a tinkerer, and a maker. I don’t think this is targeted at me. It’s more for my mom, or my siblings (not makers).
@Carlton_Dodd completely agree Carlton, I think also the problem with all these crowdfunding printers is the delivery time. April 2015, on average they tend to be about three to six months late so we’re talking the end of 2015? Where will the likes of Autodesk and HP be by then?
I also wouldn’t call that beautiful.
Also, that’s a Mantis CNC mill design with a printer head on it.
As on all the crowd-funded printers that still have not delivered yet. Guess in a few years we’ll look back at this time as the crowd-funding-bubble.
