2 prints. 2 different results. Printing with PLA 1.75mm. Extruder set to 200. Any help is appreciated
Not sure I understand the question. One print has support turned on, the other has it off.
Quality looks about the same otherwise.
Place the object laying down on the bed. That’s the way it was meant to be printed.

You’re printing it wrong. Lay it down on its edge, and you don’t need any support material, as well as the thing being strong in the direction it needs to be.
Yip , print them like you have them in the photo , then you need no supports
