2 years after I received a broken EZ3D printer I finally had time to get it going. Most people said to scrap it, but I knew I could make a good printer out of it. Pretty much all of the hardware has been replaced and the carriage has been heavily modified to make the new extruder work. This print looks to be pulling up on one corner, but I literally turned it on and started printing.

16 minutes and 2.5 diametwr. Not the best but it is functioning and ready to be calibrated.

Did people say scrap it, or did they say to use the parts for a better machine? :stuck_out_tongue:

They said to scrap it as the price of printers had dropped so much that it wouldn’t be worth fixing. As is right now I have about $40 invested and I will print the new carriage so I can attach the new hotend.

Damn, 2 years? You’re way too busy…

@Kevin_Danger_Powers having twins does that to ya.

@Josh_Anderson oh man… I have 2 kids but they are 5 years apart. Dealing with 2 at the same time must be a struggle.

@Kevin_Danger_Powers it’s getting better now that they are getting a bit older. Hopefully I can keep devoting time towards it
