2nd Spool got here, now my much neglected 2nd extruder is finally being put to use! I got things calibrated, and first try printed a perfect dual color cone! It’s just SO awesome when things work on first try, especially after days of running into problems dialing in settings on a new slicer (Cura)… And this is printed with a cracked z mount! (cracked in process of getting 2nd extruder lined up just right, crashed into the top of the frame, going to try some acrylic glue next chance I get)
With the cone I wanted to start with something simple, like starting with a cube for a first print normally, and the cone looks pretty simple to me! Anyone have any favorite “dual color” objects to print?

Yeah, I been really impressed with Cura’s dual extruder functionality. We’ll probably be recommending using it for all dual extruder prints when I get our official Cura profiles finalized.
@Whosa_whatsis cool! I actually used your dual extrusion calibration gcode generator script that I came across. (First pic)
@Jonathan_Foote I noticed. If you check the first print instructions, bottom of the page, there’s a pre-made gcode file that combines both tests in one print.
@Whosa_whatsis I saw the one linked from the parent page, but does it work with t0 being on the right like the newer models? The wording in the wiki makes it sound like it is still set for the older configuration. I’ve updated the firmware so that t0 is the one on the right like the newer bukobots use. That’s why I ended up using your customizeable one as it let me set it to use -30 for the t1 offset.
The 2.1 version is for T0 on the right.
