36 in-oz nema 17 6.4v motors usable on prusa i2 or i3?
I can get 5 shipped to me for 38.
Or if any one has used nema 23s on the prusa before I can get those even cheaper.

36oz/in steppers is cutting it pretty close. I would suggest at least 46+oz/in strippers.
I know ware you can get 5 shanino’s for round 45$ and there 46oz/in steppers I currebtly use them on my I2. Or you could go with 60oz/in steppers for around 60$ I think, those would handle a heavy y stage of you wanted to use a frog plate and glass.
Darn I figured they were to good a price to work. Though the nema 23’s are $2.20 and are 75 oz-in.
It’s so tempting to get them and just modify the design.
That’s the best part of open source you can always try.
Actually you know what if they are wired up as bipolar parallel or bipolar series they are listed as 51 oz-in.
I’m checking with the guy who I’m going to get my controller board from if he is setup to use bipolar.
If so I may have found my motors.
