Im guessing its in euro??? But for the money id rather buy a commercial 3d scanner and scan and print everything myself… but its just me
Yeah, it’s in Euro. The resulting print is full color and the scanner is based on many (100+) DSLRs with a 3D reconstruction software.
I guess the whole setup costs around 120k€ including the printer.

Sony uses a hand scanner waved around the subject, different trade-offs I guess. It would be interesting to get into, but it’s probably not something that can be offered cheaply yet.
A scanner like that could be a nice basis for many projects. However, spending 50-70k€ on the scanner alone seems like an investment that would not pay off any time soon.
Would be interesting seeing some models they have done already.
I saw a few in the pics there but I suspect the limitation is not the scanning but the printing. Full colour is a powder and colour printing ink type resin so the results would be same as others.
The printed models are far from perfect. Some lack scan detail (ears or shoe laces are not properly scanned, other fine details work). Some show errors in the post processing step (some surface have holes, inconsistent color). The print quality itself seems to be good and consistent. I will take a few more photos on my next visit.
