I tried making one of these, the complexity is not to be underestimated. You need precise balance of forces between the bands you are firing and those which cause the slide to return to forward position. The trigger needs to rock precisely out of one notch and catch the next without the slide just pulling forward again.
Mine functioned, but was very finicky. The guy at oggcraft makes some gorgeous rubber band guns.
I have a shotgun rubberband gun. I sold these things a few years back. But that one is nice and better.
Such a bunch of shit “OMG they can print guns!!!” yeah yeah it’s the potential for all the other stuff that can be printed that’s really got them scared.
Modify that with an Air powered pneumatic system and you get a war capable WMD
