3D Printed Odroid X case
Recently I’ve had a few people ask me if its possible to 3D Print Raspberry Pi cases. Well it just so happens I’ve been printing a case for an Odroid X so I thought I’d post some photos to show what can be done. This is my first real attempt at complex CAD work and I’m kinda pleased how it came out, there are even captive buttons (see CAD photos) which push down on the Odroid’s microswitches.

For those interested in my technical setup…
CAD Work: Autodesk 123D Design
Slicer: KISSlicer
Printer: @nop_head Mendel 90 (RepRap)
Filament: 3dfilaprint white 3mm PLA
Bed: Glass with white kids PVA for adhesion
Settings: 2mm layer, 0.6mm skin, 2 loops, 16% infill, no support, 195c/70c

I’ll get the files up on Thingiverse shortly and post a link…

Really nice job, and I love the wooden printer cabinet :slight_smile: Heated chamber?

@bob_cousins its sound proofing so long print jobs don’t keep me awake at night as much anything :wink: but yeah it doubles as a heat chamber and with a couple of silica gel packs it keeps the PLA dry as well.
