Unless your printing in a super high melting point material it might melt.
Working fine also have nylon in case but it has been working for a month now
No heat in this area

Have you experienced, or even just considered, getting a part like this 3D printed in metal, by emailing the same 3D file that you used to design it?
Effectively your plastic part becomes the prototype for checking for fit, with the intention that the final part in metal does the actual job.

I own a stamping and wire EDM shop so I could but the wheel works fine. If
it wears out can print another one overnight. Would cost more than ABS
material but would last forever.
