Recently, I fount a entangled thing. when i set the temperature of extruder in Slice software, the 3D printer starts to work with extruder arrives set temperature.
In this way ,it takes me long time to wait.
Now , I have a idea. for example, i set the temperature of 210 in slice software, 3D printer can start to work with the temperature of 200 instead of arrive 210,but ,i don’t know how to change the coding.

Just set your temp to 200 to begin with. Although, if you need 210 to get a good part you won’t be happy with the result. Even 5 degrees is a substantial enough difference to affect print quality. I suppose you could set the print at 200 and then once printing override to get to 210 but the quality of the first layer is very important. For instance, some materials need a higher temp to adhere the part to the bed. Popping the part off mid print because of poor first layer adhesion is never a good thing.
