450 mm/sec at 9000 acceleration. This is running an azteeg X3. Just got it all together this morning. I can’t wait to get the z and an extruder on this thing and make it print.
Make it happen…
Looks great. I can’t wait to see some prints. What’s your plan for the x endstop? I had mine on the carriage but at fast accelerations it would trip on infills
I think there is a setting in marlin to help with that. Something about the duration of the signal.
I would love to see some pics of the idler/cross-over corners and what you came up with for belt tensioners.
No clue. Thats gonna be a fun one to figure out. Im still debating on using linuxCNC for this one and that will require an interesting endstop configure because you have to home in joint mode before you can more in the real config. Right now Im just moving them close, starting the home sequence and hitting the switch. That isnt the final x carriage though.It was just a quick model to get things moving.
RIght now the plan is the tension will be adjusted at the mounting point on the x carriage. Im just trying to figure out how to make it work in a compact area.
@Eclsnowman The setting is likely “debounce” or something similar.
@Mark_Fuller
Max Stepping Frequency?
