500C Thermistors?

The thermistor in my E3d gave up on life today (some kind of intermittent short) when I was looking around for a replacement that I could get fast (Seems I can’t in Australia) I came across this website for 500C thermistors: http://www.adsem.com/gpage1.html

The website looks a bit shifty but if the products meet their claims they seem to have promise. They already have two axial offerings at 4.5MOhm and 1MOhm. At the bottom of their product list they say they can make custom packages and they already have a chip rated at 110kOhm @25C. Still trying to get my head around how this stuff works but I want to see if I can get something like this to work. Especially if their claims about accuracy and cost are correct.

As long as they provide the chart for you to put into the firmware.

You would have to have/make a “table” for the firmware. I’ve seen some good threads and blog posts about this topic on the RepRap forums but haven’t had the need to do it yet.
