608 Bearing 3D Printed Spinner.

608 Bearing 3D Printed Spinner. My own desing (which does not make me a genius as is very easy )

Have you printed one? Show it here!!!

what is this thing?
used for what?

Have you been living under a rock :slight_smile:

@John_Doe oh my goodness. Don’t look on Facebook. That’s the only thing they print on the Facebook 3dPrinting group.

And when stores started selling them, they all start crying like babies because it cuts into their market of selling them through their children to local schools.

@Francis_Lee ok thank you… it’s very usefull thing… :smiley:

@John_Doe You’re welcome. I’m just being funny but it gets annoying when everyone is printing them to sell to children… And more people who don’t know about printing only want get a printer to sell these things.
If you didn’t look at the article, they’re “fidget toys.” Back in the 90s my friends and I used to “twirl” pens in math class because we were bored, and these are the next thing so kids aren’t dropping pens every two mintues. They’re useful to keep busy and dissipate energy when bored.

These are just mental masturbation. That energy could be used for creating.

@Ariel_Yahni_UniKpty i bought 20 skateboard bearing to make some spinners because my brother has been bugging the crap out of me about getting one. But the bearings seem to be crap. They barely spin… -_-

@Ariel_Yahni_UniKpty the one on the left is how i got them. I removed the covers on the one in the right thinking it may just be friction stopping them but it still did the same thing. So i rolled it over a bat of molten plastic and thats why it looks like a wheel now lol

@Cristian_Martinez you need to open the bearing and “clean it” from lube. Wash them with water/soap and then isopropyl. Lots of videos on youtube

So take away the lube? Dang im over here thinking about buying WD40 to spray the crap out of it lol

@Cristian_Martinez  I hear you. Lol

So just cleaning it works? Ill give that a try first lol

Ill probably use the WD40 for the doors in my house it sounds haunted everytime you open a door lol

Isopropyl does the magic

That’s the spirit.

Ill probably have a print to post next week. Printer is still being assembled
