7 hours left on a great project, thought some of you might be interested.
I’ve used the mono MSGEQ7 boards Peter Easton sells on eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/MSGEQ7-breakout-board-7-band-graphic-equalizer-for-audio-for-Arduino-RPi-PIC-/301210655107) and picked up one of his new stereo ones at Maker Faire. Much smaller and less expensive than the SparkFun shield.

Cool. I just backed it for one of the $19 stereo boards.
So what does it do? Is there a video I can see?
Did you check out the Kickstarter page?
He has the strangest ‘selection’ of countries he will sell to.
this is great. i tried putting some boards together but always had some issues probably related to my soldering or frying my chip. just ordered a few of these to try out.
