*8+ hours of successful printing, with retraction (looks like KISSlicer doesn’t bother retracting if it’s support material, but the actual print (Halo Master Chief), is really string free. (53mm in successful Z height at .2mm per layer)
This is after three unexpected pauses during the print, re-homing the head, requesting the right layer, and resuming the print…these failures were NOT by the printer, but rather because I was messin’ around with Repetier when I shouldn’t have been. In fact, due to the racket the Bowden makes on retract, I’ll be making the printer safe, then restarting tomorrow when I can resume babysitting.
