Check out these 8mm through-hole RGB LEDs with WS2811 drivers inside. Some arrived here today but I haven’t lit them up yet. I suspect they’re nicely diffused, based on the photos. $15 for 13 pixels…

Sweet! I just bougt some fast/slow fade dumb leds and was wondering when they were gonna make this type.

These are neat, it’s amazing how quickly the individual LED controlling technology is being shrunk down.
