"A Better Dragon", printed on a DeltaMaker about to go out of the door

“A Better Dragon”, printed on a DeltaMaker about to go out of the door at work. We didn’t tune retraction for this filament so there’s a bit of hairiness going on. This is the support that Meshmixer generates. It snaps off VERY nicely, and if you’ve got your machine doing a z-hop/z-lift, then the supports don’t give any problems. KISSlicer generated the gcode.

Awesome! I love the way the supports look. I’ll have to try them again

Best thing about them, is they’re so easy to peel off.

Are you shipping the dragon with the printer so the new owner gets a preview of what to expect?

@Brian_Wilson haha, no. That print is 12 hours long. We do about, 3 hours of testing before it’s deemed good enough. But, whoever is getting machine ser# 0044 will know that it’s good enough to print this.

Wow! What option for kisslicer makes that kind of support?

@Diego_Viejo KISSlicer didn’t generate the support, Meshmixer did.

@ThantiK it makes me think that you could ask meshmixer to produce 3mm support rods. Then you could sell them as stick filaments
