A few days ago someone posted a link for WS2812B strips at $8 a meter. I just purchased them, as that’s the lowest i’ve ever seen, but i just bumped into this $7.11 per a meter, so i thought i’d share. Haven’t used this supplier personally, so idk if its reliable, but it seems promising.

Looks like they’re advertising waterproof but describing non-waterproof. Not promising to me if they can’t get that basic property right.
I assumed it’s non waterproof. Still like $0.88 cheaper than anything else I’ve seen
That also looks like a 144 LED/M IP20 strip instead of a 60 LED/M waterproof (or IP68) strip. Either way, the price is nice, depending on what you actually get.
From the auction page and title/description it seems these are not the pictured 144 LEDs per meter but as the title suggests 60 LEDs per meter.
The ebay page has a few other pics some showing 60 LED per meter strips both with and without silicone sleeving.
The description has specs listed as follows:-
Specifications:
Shell color: White
Light source: 5050 RGB
IC Model: WS2812B
Voltage: DC 5V
LED quantity: 60LED/1 M
I wouldn’t expect the silicone sleeve waterproofing seeing it is not mentioned, though the title is certainly suggesting it should have the waterproofing.
On eBay from Chinese sellers, don’t pay too much attention to the pictures. Read the description
