A few questions/comments: - When loading my own gcode file,

A few questions/comments:

  • When loading my own gcode file, this gets loaded in series with whatever gcode is generated by LW3.
+ Start/End should be ignored so the gcode can have is own start/stop.
+ Only way I found to clear loaded gcode was to refresh the page. We need a way to easily clear this.
+ In my opinion, loading custom gcode should overwrite generated gcode. Or maybe make it a setting.

  • The terminal/log should be more verbose. My jobs hang near the end and I have no idea why. I only have a stream of OKs to know it’s still communicating but no longer moving. Usually clicking resume recovers it but it would be nice to see Sent and received commands for troubleshooting.
    - Add checkbox for enabling verbosity?

  • Whenever I load a vector file with a drawing in the middle, they shift to the bottom left corner in LW3. This makes lining up vector with rasters tedious.
+ Is there a way too make it show up at the coordinates they were drawn at in the original document?

I have more, but don’t want to overwhelm. Thanks for taking a look and/or your help.

+Peter van der Walt Well, that solves that.
I’m using inkscape to make SVG files. The resulting files work but it’s hard to get details as to why it hangs near the end. When you say now terminal, do you mean when running LW3 from terminal? I’m running a a service, so this is hidden. I’ll try running manually to see.

Probably in /var/log/syslog
